The Governors are the 'critical friend' of the school. They are a group of people from all walks of life and some are parents of children at the school. All work voluntarily to support and assist the Headteacher and staff in managing the site and buildings, the curriculum and the resources in the school. The Governors meet once a term as a Governing Body and once or twice a term in smaller committees. They often support events in the school and visit classes once a term. Along with the school staff, they are responsible for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the school.
If you are interested in becoming a School Governor, please contact the school office or see Mrs Turner, the Headteacher. |
